Tattoo Circus..? Was is das denn?
Italienische Aktivist_innen riefen den Tattoo-Circus im Jahr 2007 in Rom ins Leben. So verbanden sie politische Arbeit mit Subkultur und verwirklichten somit die geniale Idee, dass Solidarität auch unter die Haut gehen kann. Weitere Aktivist_innen aus Zaragoza, Barcelona, London, Thessaloniki und Berlin griffen das Konzept auf das Konzept auf und verwirklichten es auf ihre Art und Weise.
Tausende Menschen tragen an einer besonderen Stelle auf ihrer Haut eine Erinnerung an jene vergangenen Tattoo Circus eine Erinnerung an eine Utopie für ein paar Tage erlebbar wurde…

Solidarische Tattooz!
Die Idee Tattoo Circus wird getragen von den Grundsätzen der Selbstorganisation, der Solidarität und einem Lebensentwurf der auf Respekt und Würde gegründet ist, somit stellt das Ganze KEINE Convention dar und möchte nach eigenem Selbstverständnis, nichts mit dem auf Konkurrenz und Kommerzialisierung basierenden Prinzip zu tun haben.
Selbstorganisierte Strukturen, sind hierarchiearme, von „unten“ getragene Vereinbarungen, in denen jede und jeder mit ihren und seinen Fähigkeiten, Macken, Wünschen und Träumen gleichberechtigter Teil der Entscheidungsprozesse sein kann.
Solidarität bedeutet für uns die aktive Anteilnahme und Unterstützung von Kämpfen, die gegen den auf Ausbeutung, Krieg und Konkurrenz basierende Gesellschaftsentwurf in dem wir gezwungen sind zu leben, geführt werden. Grenzenlose Solidarität ist die Unterstützung, der auf Grund ihres Kampfes von Repression betroffenen, also im Knast sitzenden, mit Strafbefehlen, Anzeigen überzogenen Menschen.
Durch die aktive Solidarität, die Unterstützung und Anteilnahme an Kämpfen und den Menschen die sie führen, wollen wir in unserem Handeln und Wirken unsere Utopie einer freien und herrschaftsfreien Welt, ein Gesicht geben, sie erlebbar machen und somit als unumstößlich darstellen!

Der Tattoo-Circus ist ein aktiver Beitrag zum Kampf gegen die bestehenden menschenunwürdigen Verhältnisse. Ein kleiner Beitrag mit großem Ziel.
Sämtliche Tättowierer_innen, Gruppen und Menschen, die an dem Tattoo-Circus mitwirken, stellen für jene Tage ihre Kreativität, Ressourcen und Zeit der Utopie einer herrschaftsfreien Welt zur Verfügung, arbeiten umsonst aber nicht vergebens!
Niemand verdient an dem Tattoo Circus-Nur die Utopie die wir in unseren Herzen und auf der Haut tragen!
Sämtliche Einnahmen fließen in die Unterstützung von Kämpfen gegen das System welches Millionen von Menschen zwingt in abscheulichen, unwürdigen und wahnsinnigen Verhältnissen zu leben.

What the hell is a Tattoo Circus?
Italian activists came up with the idea of a Tattoo Circus in the year 2007 in Rome.
As they combined activism with subculture they implemented the idea of solidarity tattoos: Solidarity that goes under your skin.
Other activists from Zaragoza, Barcelona, London. Thessaloniki and Berlin used this concept for themselves and set up their own Tattoo Circuses.
Thousands of people now carry the memories of these past Tattoo Circuses on a very special place on their skin.
Now we want to pick up this concept and adapt it for ourselves to realize our wishes and ideas.

Solidarity Tattooz!
The idea of Tattoo Circus is based on the ideals of self-organisation, solidarity and a lifestyle based on respect and dignity. Therefore Tattoo Circus is NO convention. Tattoo Circus does NOT want to be associated with this concept of competition and making money.
Self-organised structures intend to reduce hierarchies so that everyone with their own abilities, flaws, wishes and dreams can take an equal part in making decisions
For us solidarity means actively taking part and supporting the struggles against a society based on exploitation, war and competition in which we are forced to live. This also means supporting people that are confronted with law enforcement due to their struggles like people in jail, people facing lawsuits etc.
Through active solidarity and support of people and their struggles we want to come a little closer to our utopia of a world free from authority and governance.

The Tattoo Circus is a contribution to the fight against the present circumstances that make it impossible to live in dignity. A small contribution with a big goal.
All tattoo-artists, political groups and people that help to realize the Tattoo Circus put their time, resources and creativity into this fight. Therefore they all work for free and no one is going to make money out of this.
Every cent earned will benefit the struggles against the system that forces us to live under these insane conditions.
